Balsam Bash Volunteer Day at Crane Park, Lincoln Field (To be confirmed)

Sunday 12 June 2016
10:30 to 15:30

Our annual Balsam Bash !! This is a great day when we join with all our pals and fellow organisations for a co-ordinated effort to clear the riversides of Balsam.  This plant is invading our riverbanks and knocking out many other plants, including native species, so it decreases the biodiversity for other flora and fauna. It is very easy to pull out and our work makes a massive impact so please come along and join in the fun.

There is plenty for all to do so if you have an hour or two to share, please join us.  Do wear sturdy footwear, water proof clothing if it looks like rain.  We have gloves and equipment so just bring yourselves.  We provide hot drinks, biscuits and maybe even homemade cakes if we are lucky for breaks !
