River Dipping in National Rivers Week

Wednesday 29 June 2016
16:30 to 18:00

This week is National Rivers Week so do come along to the Shot Tower beside the River Crane for a fun afternoon  dipping for life in the river. This is an afternoon specifically for children to enjoy and learn about the river and it's life as they dip from David Lemon. Any insects or river species found are returned to their watery home during the day.

Please come along with wellingtons or waterproof footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day.  Also bring a change of trousers and towel to dry in case you get wet. Booking here is essential.

This event is part of a joint project between London Wildlife Trust and the Friends of the River Crane Environment to increase the knowledge and understanding of the River Crane and its wildlife and history. It has been funded by Richmond Civic Pride Awards.
