River Dipping
Tuesday 16 August 2016
14:00 to 15:30
Come along to the Shot Tower beside the River Crane for a fun afternoon looking for and dipping for life in the river. This is an afternoon specifically for children to enjoy and learn about the river and it's life as they go from David Lemon. Any insects or river species found are returned to their watery home during the day.
Please come along with wellingtons or waterproof footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Also bring a towel and change of trousers in case you get wet. The event is free but registering is essential:
This event is part of a joint project between London Wildlife Trust and the Friends of the River Crane Environment to increase the knowledge and understanding of the River Crane and its wildlife and history. It has been funded by Richmond Civic Pride Awards.
