Print Making

Saturday 17 September 2016
10:30 to 13:30

Come along to the Shot Tower in Crane Park for an enjoyable day making  prints.  The printmaking workshop is suitable for families with children aged 6 and above. The whole family can join in !

We will be making simple blocks of card and polystyrene to create amazing and unique images, using lovely Crane Park Island beside the River Crane and their wildlife  as our inspiration.  The workshop will be led by well known local printmaker Sasa Marinkov who will share some of her secrets!

No experience is necessary but please bring an apron and wear old clothes as it can get a little bit messy. Plus come along with sturdy footwear and in clothing suitable for the weather on the day as we may take a walk outside first if the weather is suitable. The event is free but registering is essential:  Register  We need to know how many folk will attend.

This event is part of a joint project between London Wildlife Trust and the Friends of the River Crane Environment to increase the knowledge and understanding of the River Crane and its wildlife and history. It has been funded by Richmond Civic Pride Awards.
