Ecology of the Duke of Northumberland's River & Water Vole Environment
Saturday 15 April 2017
10:30 to 12:00
Rob Gray will be leading this morning walk to see the ecology and wildlife and along the Duke of Northumberland's River. The river corridor is home to bats, water voles, eels and kingfishers, as well as exotics such as terrapins and koi carp. We cannot promise you will see all of these, but we can see their habitats and hear how these are being protected and improved.
Please wear suitable outdoor attire for the weather that day and sturdy footwear for outdoor paths. This walk is organised by FORCE as part of a series of walks and talks along the Duke of Northumberland's River and local area. Whilst the event is free booking here is essential. We look forward to seeing you.
