Bug Hunt for Children
Saturday 11 August 2018
10:00 to 11:00
Join us in Merway Nature Park for a fun morning looking for bugs. As well as a great adventure safari, this is a morning specifically for children to enjoy and learn about local wildlife near the river and surrounding woodlands. Any insects found are left in their home during the day. Come along with wellingtons or waterproof footwear, and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Booking is essential as we need to know how many folk will attend.
This event is organised by FORCE as part of a series of walks and talks along the Duke of Northumberland's River and local area. We look forward to seeing you and will meet near the Notice Board in Mereway Nature Park, just over the bridge linking Kneller Gardens and Mereway Road.
