Friends of the River Crane Environment

We will be continuing to lay the hedge between Meadway and Mill Road. This is primary laying so gives everyone the opportunity to try the ancient art of hedge laying, including staking and binding the hedge into place, as you can see from the picture.

We will be entering the site by van from Meadway, but for those of you making your own way you may find that Mill Road is a closer option for you, please take a look at the map.

We shall meet in Crane Park at 10.20.  The event is being run by TCV as a community learning day and details are on their website here. All are welcome to come and join us, for an hour or two, or all day.  Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather on the day; and bring yourself a packed lunch.
