Friends of the River Crane Environment

Unfortunately due to the current situation regarding Covid-19 this event has had to be cancelled.  Please keep an eye on this website or the TCV website for details for when it will be re-arranged.

We will be having a second day coppicing and laying a number a small sections of hedge. Everyone has an opportunity to try the ancient art of hedge laying, including staking and binding the hedge into place.  There are plenty of jobs for all skill levels.

The event is being run by TCV as a community learning day, whose details plus the booking link is on their website here. All are welcome to come and join us, for an hour or two, or all day but you must book as we must adhere to the government covid requirements.  Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the weather on the day; and bring yourself a packed lunch.
