Tidy up Mereway Nature Park with TCV

Wednesday 04 August 2021
10:00 to 16:00

GI Volunteers at work

Mereway nature reserve was formerly a market garden and allotments. It contains scrub, fruit trees and an outdoor classroom. Much loved and much used by local residents and folk passing through the area. It is where the Crane and Duke of Northumberland rivers meet.  TCV are tidying up Mereway Nature Park doing bramble cutting, litter picking and general maintenance tasks. If you would like a day outside looking after your local green space, please register now. There will be plenty of jobs for you to help with.

There are 15 spaces for this session. You can come and volunteer with us if … • you are well and have no Covid related symptoms • nobody in your household has coronavirus symptoms or has tested positive in the last 2 weeks.  Book your place here.  Thank you for helping !
