Friends of the River Crane Environment

 This year we are again holding a winter bird walk. Take a walk and catch the birds in Crane Park with our expert Keith Martin. You will be surprised to learn about the number of species we have living close by.  We shall start at the notice board at the entrance to Mereway Nature Reserve, beside the bridge over the River Crane, and walk through the scrubland and along the river bank . The nature reserve is accessible from the end of Mereway Road or via Meadway through Kneller Gardens.

Everybody is welcome to join us on the walk, although not dogs as they scare the birds.  Tickets are available via this link.  Please only attend if you have registered and have a 'ticket' as the group is kept small, otherwise we may regretfully have to turn you away on the day.

Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. It is recommended you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear as it is winter after all and it may be muddy.  We look forward to seeing you !
