River Dipping for Invertebrates on the River Crane - postponed
Friday 05 August 2022
10:00 to 11:30
We have postponed this event until later in the year when more people are at home to join in river dipping.
Come along to Crane Park Island beside the River Crane for a morning looking at the invertebrate life in the river. This is a family day arranged especially in the summer holidays to enjoy learning about the river and how local people are working together to improve the ecology of the river. We will meet at the Shot Tower before going on to Crane Park Island which is a London Wildlife Trust nature reserve.
Please come along in stout footwear – or wellingtons if you would like to join in with the invertebrate collection - and in clothing suitable for the weather on that day. Booking using this link is essential as we need to know how many folk will attend and places are limited.
This event is organised by FORCE and London Wildlife Trust. There is no access to the Shot Tower nor toilet facilities at the moment.
Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We look forward to seeing you !
