Friends of the River Crane Environment

The location of this Volunteer Sunday will be based at Pevensey Nature Reserve meeting at the entrance in Pevensey Road, near Hanworth Road.  There are plenty of jobs to do which will include : 

• Woodchipping paths
• Removing Himalayan balsam
• Planting marginals
• Bridge painting (subject to weather)
• Moving/stacking fallen trees

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do. We have a restricted number of places so booking is essential. Please only attend if you have registered and have a 'ticket', otherwise we may regretfully have to turn you away on the day.

Two sessions are being held so you can book just one or both :

• Morning 10:30 - 12:30 Book here

Everybody is welcome to join us. If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We recommend you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear with long trousers and a long sleeved top. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. Or come along for a couple of hours to see what we get up to !
