Friends of the River Crane Environment

This Volunteer Sunday will take place in central Crane Park, meeting at the new 20th Anniversary bench. The What3words location is salsa.formed.grows . We always have plenty of jobs for all ages and skills such as : 

• Litter picking
• Maintenance of the new glade
• Woodchipping trees
• Maintenance of ‘Ellerman Island’ Wildflower bed
• Removal of invasive trees
• Work on Crane Park Island if time allows

FORCE would greatly appreciate your help in maintaining this local environment for us all as there is always plenty to do. We have a restricted number of places so booking is essential. Please book your place here

Everybody is welcome to join us. If this is your first time volunteering with us kindly fill in our welfare form in advance. Due to safeguarding needs all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We recommend you wear tough outdoor clothes and footwear with long trousers and a long sleeved top. If you can stay all day please bring along some lunch and something to drink. Or come along for an hour or two to see what we get up to !
