DISCOVER: The Lower Crane Valley
The Lower Crane Valley is a linked network of open spaces along the River Crane. Many of these spaces are of high environmental significance and valued for recreation. The variety of flora and fauna create an important wildlife corridor for west London. The River Crane, a tributary of the River Thames, also supports a diverse range of aquatic and marginal river wildlife.
This leaflet highlights the open spaces, walks and some of the carved benches to be found along the paths. For other leaflets with details of walks and maps click on the appropriate map label below or the left-hand menu.
Pleasingly others share their walks along the waterways locally too. Try this magnificent walk along from the Grand Union Canal to Bulls Bridge & locale in Hanwell. Use this Blog from joestrimmer which includes unusual views of the River Crane.
